Henry Walker, 1942-2008

Henry Leon Walker, 66, of Kingdom City died Wednesday, March 19, 2008, in Kingdom City.

Services will be at noon Monday, March 24, at Warren Funeral Chapel, 12 E. Ash St., with the Rev. Larry Warren officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at Warren Funeral Chapel. Burial will in Springfield, Ark.

He was born Jan. 26, 1942, in Springfield, Ark., to James Walker and Sadie Bell Walker. He was married to Tabatha Walker.

He was the owner of Walker Tire Service Co. in Kingdom City. He graduated from Conway County Training School and Arkansas A&M College in Pine Bluff, Ark.

Survivors include his wife, Tabatha, of Kingdom City; son James Walker of St. Paul, Minn.; daughters Leslie Walker of St. Paul and Kimberly Walker of Kansas City; brothers Amos Walker, Benjamin Walker, Hermon Walker and Michael Walker; sisters Alice Reed, Alpha Riley, Joyce Crockett, Gladys Washington, Pauline Scaife and Gerline Pitts; several nieces and nephews; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by both parents and one brother.
