MU hosting Floyd farewell reception
The University of Missouri-Columbia is hosting a farewell reception for departing University of Missouri system President Elson Floyd.
The reception is from 3 to 5 p.m. tomorrow in Stotler Lounge in MU’s Memorial Union. The reception is free and open to the public.
Floyd is leaving the university system to lead Washington State University in Pullman, Wash. He has been the president of the UM system since January 2001.
