Car catches fire on Worley Street
Published Tuesday, March 6, 2007
Columbia firefighters responded to a burning car this morning on West Worley Street. Battalion Chief Steven Sapp said fire crews responded at about 8:47 a.m. to 1912 W. Worley, where a white, four-door car was in flames. He said there was no one in the car at the time and that no one was injured. The car, which is owned by Christine Rahmoeller of Columbia, was towed from the scene. The fire appeared to have started in the engine compartment, but Sapp said it’s unclear what caused the fire.
