A large crowd gathers at the Boone County Courthouse Square during a peace rally yesterday in downtown Columbia. Hundreds of Mid-Missourians attended the event, which was organized to protest ongoing US military involvement in the Middle East. A march through downtown to Douglass Park followed the rally, which was sponsored by Mid-Missouri Peaceworks.
