Frances Mason, 1936-2007

Frances Elaine Mason, 72, of Hallsville passed away on Friday, Dec. 28, 2007. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, at The Kingdom Hall in Hallsville. Frances was born on May 31, 1936, in Hartsburg to Thomas and Velma Nichols Watson, and they preceded her in death. On May 21, 1971, she married Maurice Mason in Ashland, and he preceded her in death. She was a member of The Kingdom Hall in Hallsville and was a volunteer at Columbia Regional Hospital for seven years. Her favorite hobbies were sewing, crafts and scrapbooking. She will be remembered as a loving, caring and kind person. Frances is survived by daughters Theresa Miller and husband Russell, and Marsha Daniels; stepdaughters, Judy Holley and Bonnie Mason; grandchildren Chanda Neal, Matthew Hall, Joshua Hall, Kurt Miller and Kyle Miller; great-grandchildren Brandon, Kelsey, Mason, Joshua, Devin, Heaven and Jaelyn; sisters Evelyn Nichols and Ethel Williams; and brothers Jack Nichols and Harold Nichols.
