CMU celebrates Howard County Days

Central Methodist is again sponsoring "Howard County Days" by offering Howard County public school students, staff and faculty and area residents free passes to select men’s and women’s home basketball games.

"This is a way for Central Methodist University to say thank you to all the residents in Howard County as well as in nearby Harrisburg and Boonville who have supported CMU over the years through their involvement in campus activities, including attendance at athletic events and our many cultural offerings during the school year, as well as through direct financial contributions," said Kenneth Oliver, CMU vice president for campus life and athletic director.

Tickets will be distributed through area merchants for the Jan. 3, 7 and 10 games at Puckett Field House. Women’s games start at 5:30 p.m.; men’s at 7 p.m. Free admittance may also be gained by bringing a canned food donation to the game. The food is being collected for the Howard County Food Pantry.
