Pedestrian issued ticket after accident

$1 million donation funds MU position
Paul and Dianne Shumaker of Olathe, Kan., have donated $1 million to the "For All We Call Mizzou" campaign to finance a professorship at the University of Missouri-Columbia’s College of Engineering.

Stolen firearms found in county subdivision
Boone County Sheriff’s Department deputies recovered several firearms from homes in a residential area just southwest of the Columbia city limits, and authorities believe at least some of them had been stolen during a string of burglaries in the neighborhood.
