MU women’s golfers open spring with fifth-place finish

In its spring-season opener, the Missouri women’s golf team shot a final-round 306 to finish fifth at the six-team Central District Invitational at the River Wilderness Golf Club in Parrish, Fla. Missouri had a three-round total of 915. Baylor won with an 896.

CAMDENTON - A rare celebratory scene unfolded at the end of the Hickman bench last night. For a good portion of the second half of their Class 5 District 10 Tournament opener, the Kewpies’ starters sat back and giggled as their backups finished off Smith-Cotton. The 66-14 victory was the biggest of the season.
