Rock Bridge volleyball Coach Beth Newton rates the Bruins’ passing on a 3.0 scale. A rating of 3.0 means the pass gave the Bruins setter three options - left side, right side or middle - to set the ball. A rating of 2.0 means the setter had only two hitters she could give the ball.
