Published Wednesday, August 16, 2006
Police are asking for the public’s help finding a 24-year-old Columbia woman who has been missing for more than a week.
Megan Shultz was last seen about 1 a.m. Aug. 4 at her residence in the 1700 block of Amelia Street. At the time, she made statements that she was on her way to meet friends, Columbia police said in a news release. A family member reported Shultz missing at 8:45 a.m. the next day. Police said Shultz is taking prescribed medication for a recent automobile accident and that foul play is not suspected. Shultz is described as a white female, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, 120 pounds, with brown eyes. At the time of her disappearance she was wearing a pink tank top, white Capri pants and a pair of flip-flops. Anyone with information is asked to call the Major Crimes Unit of the Columbia Police Department or CrimeStoppers at 875-8477.
